Angkor Wat - An UNESCO World Heritage Sacred Destination

A visit to Cambodia’s World Heritage Temples of Angkor complex, is understandably high on the list for many travellers. The Cambodian god-kings of old each strove to better their ancestors’ structures in size and scale culminating in what is believed to be the world’s largest religious building.

Angkor Wat ("Capital Temple") is a temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world, with the site measuring 162.6 hectares (1,626,000 m2). It was originally constructed as a Hindu temple of god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. How many cities in the world have more rooftop bars than Bangkok? Maybe none. We climbed most of them to give you the ultimate list of Bangkok Rooftop Skybars. And we asked experienced expats about their favorit skybars.
As much as we love Bangkok’s big-name rooftop bars, sometimes it’s nice to not have to worry about whether you’re wearing the right shoes. You get the same good views, outdoors atmosphere and quality drinks – just at a lower cost.

The reason why it’s such a secret is there is no signage or front door. Instead, there is just a mock-retro phone booth. Step inside, dial the secret code and a false door in the back of the phone booth swings open. It’s the most unusual entrance to a bar we’ve seen in Bangkok! The best time to check out Havana Social is on Friday and Saturday nights.
